Introducing the agents and editors for PBParty 2025. Wahoooooo! How incredible is this list? We’ve had so many Success Stories through the years. I can’t wait to see the magical matches that will happen this year.
Please read our PBParty contest announcement post and FAQ here.
Submission day is Monday February 3, 2025
Midnight to 8 PM EST
Please scroll through the post for more PBParty info…including the 2025 Ranking Parties to help you figure out what to enter and a surprise for you.
We can’t wait to see your entries!
Note: Listed agents and editors have agreed to take part in the contest, but that doesn’t mean they’ll make requests or that life won’t happen and prevent them from appearing. Everyone will do their best.
Psst…several additional agents & editors said they’ll try to pop into PBParty. They aren’t listed below, but I’ll send them a link and hope they’ll hop over to make requests. Last year, lots of agents & editors who weren’t listed joined the showcase. 🙂
Here are the amazing agents and editors. Please thank their kindness by following them on social media (it’s linked to their names). Plus, it’s a great way to keep up with their wish lists and book news!

We’re setting up Ranking Parties to help PBParty participants decide which manuscript to submit. Please fill out the form by Saturday, January 18, at 11:59 pm EST. Finalists the past few years said it was a huge help. Plus…many have continued to be critique and/or ranking buddies. Thanks to past PBParty finalist and Success Story Becca McMurdie for organizing this! You can find Becca here: BlueSky | Twitter | Instagram.
If you’d like extra motivation to write a new picture book plus give and receive a critique–check out my monthly PBParty New Draft Challenge & Critique Train! The next one is January 23 – 25 EST. I hope you’ll hop aboard!
We had requests for a PBParty Participant badge in the past, so PBParty Designer, author/illustrator Melissa Escobar, created a badge and banner for you. Wahooooo! Huge thanks, Melissa. They’re adorable! Right click and grab yours.
I’ll share a banner on BlueSky that will work well there, too. 🙂
I’m so grateful for all the judges who donate their time to help make publishing dreams come true. Please thank Judge & Ninja Superstar Sylvia Chen. She’s helped take PBParty to a whole new level behind the scenes, and I can’t thank her enough for her amazing tech skills and realizing what I could use help with even before I know. (Psst…check out her #PBStudyBuddy). And please send gratitude to all of our incredible judges…I’ll share more about them in a future post along with helpful tips.
Brittany Pomales, Marietta Apollonio, Aixa Perez-Prado, Jenna Waldman, Stacey Byer, Teresa Cope Rodrigues

I’m hoping we’ll have even more yeses…I’ll add them as they come in and share on Twitter, BlueSky, and the PBParty Participants Facebook group. I’ve been squealing and celebrating for each yes, and am thrilled to share them with you. 🙂
