You have from midnight until 8 pm on March 17 Eastern to enter. Please don’t wait until the last minute. You don’t want to risk tech issues – if you miss the window, it won’t open again until the 2027 contest.

Here’s the list of participating PBParty agents, editors, & ADs – we have 44 and we always have additional ones join by the time the showcase goes live.
Finalists will be announced on my website by April 27. I usually shout out in the PBParty Participant Facebook group when we have the duke-it-out-for-final-spots Zoom, which typically happens a couple days before I have everything ready.
It’s hard to know how many entries we’ll get and how long the judges will need. If we can make the final decisions a bit earlier to give finalists time to prepare for the showcase, we will! In the meantime, here’s what you should do:
Writers: Keep polishing additional manuscripts. Most agents and editors request a full of the PBParty entry when interested, then will ask for 2 – 3 or 3 – 5 more if they love it.
Author/Illustrators: Keep polishing additional manuscripts, your dummies, portfolio, etc. Don’t forget that the strength of the dummy that goes with your PBParty submission can make the difference between the finals, Illustration Showcase and an honorable mention.
