Dear Agents and Editors:
Are you looking for STEM and humor? Then you’ll dig BIG, BAD DINOSAUR #1. In 364 words, Spinosaurus spews facts about himself (and — whoops — T-Rex) as he auditions for the movie “Cretaceous Park.”
Spino the Dino is tired of T-Rex getting all the best parts in Hollywood. Who was actually bigger and badder? The longer, taller, heavier Spinosaurus with unbreakable teeth, no doubt! But Spino gets a surprise when there’s one more audition. Maybe he shouldn’t have been so braggy…
BIG, BAD DINOSAUR #1 combines facts like “Do You Really Want to Meet a Spinosaurus?” with fun in the vein of “How to Care for Your T-Rex.” Kids ages 4-8 love dinosaurs, and the backmatter provides a chart so children can debate (friendly, of course) which dinosaur — Tyrannosaurus Rex, Spinosaurus, or Giganotosaurus — was the biggest and baddest.
